According to the report, the league sources say the NFL determined 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 PSI and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

I'll agree as long as you will agree that no league should be forced to be told who can be in their team's starting lineups. Even if the teams owner demands it. Even if that means Tom gets paid, if the league decides one of their team's "cast" (because it's been litigated that the NFL is "entertainment") then he doesn't play, any any player can be sat at the company's digression.

But I'm sure you won't agree, so **** Tom (and the cheating Pats), let him sit AND lose the pay.

What gets lost in all this is the owners. The majority must have told Roger to hammer them. Kraft and the fans can whine about all day but the Brady suspension was not all him. No way he does this with their support.

Prolly. And good for them if they did. The alternative would be to go public and make even more theater of this. Granted, I'd not mind that, but I think they might be more concerned. There's no need to have a select few clubs getting away with playing by a slightly different rules. Just to be clear, the Pats are a cheating organization to stem to stern, they need to just take the penalty and come back better people. Like all convicts, we can only hope this helps to reform them.
