This Indiana State team that is playing Wichita right now in the MVC final would finish well below Texas Tech in the B12.

I think it's based on everyone knows going in what Self is going to do...if someone else steps up and surprises based on expectations they win the award.

I understand the idea of giving it to a coach of a team that over preformed, or even just anyone other than Self, but Barnes would maybe be the fourth coach I would give it to.

KenPom is sometimes out of wack though. It says WSU would be #1 in the Big 12. But how the F would they know that? They'd have to play the teams we played. Not totally accurate. I know KenPom is based on pace, tempo yada yada, and it doesn't necessarily mean they'd be the best team but I bet that throws people off

WSU destroys the bad teams they play. And that's mostly because, to their credit, they play hard every game. That's why they're above KU in KP.

The eye test is the best. This isn't a discredit to WSU but the 2-4 seeds are gonna be beasts. If they can beat a UNC, a SDSU, Michigan and other teams I can't think of right now that they'd likely be facing in the S16, then kudos to them. I've seen all of them and I'd be surprised if they'd get past that round.

tOSU doesn't worry me.

An Izzo led Spartans? His teams are always well coached and always a threat. And they've owned KU in recent memory too.
