Imagine a new GM, who walks in, signs Alex Smith, drafts Geno, and trades for Matt Flynn - THOSE are the three QBs going into camp.

He signs Bowe long-term, signs Colquitt long-term, and franchises Albert.

And brings in Greg Jennings.

The rest of the draft gets used on O-Line, DB, and LBs...

I mean, they DO have the cap space for all of that, and more.

Ahhh, a guy can dream, can't he???

Why the hell would we trade for Matt Flynn or sign Greg Jennings?

I don't care what happens if this team gets a franchise QB and a revamped, competent, staff.

We are still trying to compete with all the teams that have franchise QB's and competent staffs. Getting a QB puts us on the map. We need all these talented guys that have suffered through the dark ages.

I fear a nightmare scenario here in KC; Pioli is granted another year, we let Bowe and Albert walk, take Te'o with our pick, sign a brokedick Wes Welker, trade for Alex Smith, and suck sh*t for the next 3 years.

Wendler, I know you're saying Pioli is finished. I'm not convinced. I'd say there's still about a 10%-15% chance he's back. I have nothing to go on but my gut feeling. I cannot trust this organization.

Funny thing is that would not be any worse than this past year. Just shows how ****ED UP things are.

People judging our WR corps with the QB performance over the past 2 season are morons (like Clay).

Demaryius Thomas two seasons without Manning:
54 receptions (109 targets) 834yds 6TDs

Demaryius Thomas in 14 games with Manning:
78 receptions (119 targets) 1210yds 8TDs

Demaryius Thomas showed flashes of potential even before Manning. He had over TWO HUNDRED YARDS in a playoff game last year.

The same goes for Eric Decker.

Baldwin has shown almost NOTHING. On a consistent basis.

I've beaten this horse to death already, but Bowe and Breaston were fine last year with Cassel. Chambers was fine in 2010 with Cassel.

Real talent shines through. The garbage players get lost in the pile of suck.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
