Go for it. BTW I made a mistake in my post. I don't use the ginger for sweetness. It just uses fresh grated ginger. Something got mixed up when I edited.

Lobsters are still $5.99 a pound for even the big guys this week. I got some swordfish for $6.99 a pound. I picked up some of the "free range, no antibiotics, massaged by hot strippers and blessed by God himself" type hamburger at a price that's a huge discount out here ($1.99 a pound for 4 pounds). We're getting steamer clams at a huge bargain this week, along with mussels, and chicken is on sale for a very decent $.99 a pound this weekend as well.
We're doing up Lobster (probably stuffed) Hamburgers and brats or sausages Clam boil Some sort of chicken dish Mussels mariniere (?) over the course of the weekend. It should be good eats. over the weekend. I love the 4th of July weekend! |

Thanks. It should be a great two food weekends, because next week I"m heading to the huge Asian/Oriental marketplace and stocking up. I'm thinking about trying to make Kahlbi ribs, I'll almost definitely make a massaman curry, and I'll probably look to make either lamb saag or lamb vindaloo.

Rooster for lunch. Great as most of Bailey's stuff is. Anthonino's with the kids for supper. I really like this place though their Pasta Nero was a little disappointing, but everything else was superb. Great experience for the kids as well. We were going to eat at a newish place called The Tavern but that was the night that fell through. The St. Louis food scene continues to impress.

Bacon-Cheese burger at Bass Pro (had business there, so decided to eat there). Yum!!! That's the good news... The bad news is a cracked tooth finished cracking...
LOL, getting old sucks! And no, it wasn't the burger, I felt it coming on for days... But that bitch is going under the pillow! (I'll need the money once the dentist gets done ass-raping me!!) |
