Trade the 1.1 for Revis and let's do this win now shit

Fugg it. Give him phat dollas and complete the best secodary in the league. Dorsey can work his strings to get Jennings and we can beat Denver for th e div crown. Otherwise they will get Welker and roll our ass.

Winning the AFC West is about as impressive as winning the Big Leftover.

this is in no way advocating this course of action, but for discussions sake...

I don't think this is comparable to Surtain at all.

Revis was/is a legit superstar player...possible league MVP quality player.

This team is gonna need an elite defense to have any chance with Alex Smith...if they are dead set on cementing themselves to him, we need to make some moves to win now.

Move back to 9 and add Revis and sign him to a deal that has a team option after 2 years...with the pick, we try to move down again with a team willing to give up next years first and gets us in the high teens to low 20s and take the best pass rusher we can get....I'd even consider a guy like Jarvis Jones at that point.

Build the defense into an elite unit that can hold teams to around 14 points while killing quarterbacks and try to win that way.

If we are gonna pop a 90s Chiefs video into the VCR, I prefer one while we still had Neil and DT.

That Surtain trade kicked ass in 2005.

When he got that pick in the opener against the Jets, holy shit.

This forum loved that game.

2005. Season opener against the Jets.

So long ago. Was that the one where LJ had, like, a 39 yard TD off a sweep left? Dude ran in untouched from 40 yards out; it was a thing of beauty.

Id swap picks with the jets for revis and wouldnt even think twice about it.

One, it would give us 2 lockdown corners. Im confident revis will come back 100 from his acl.

Two, im willing to bet both Joeckel and Fisher would be gone by rhen, allowing us to trade down again or pick a reciever to help smith out or a DT if Dorsey walks

Revis could be the Peyton Manning of CBs. If he could make the cheap labor you have to surround him with better. Cap drain.

The Chiefs should be looking to trade down out of the one spot, but cutting Winston loose shows me that they are looking Joekel...I hope Dorsey/Reid were trying to flip this pick for 2-3 later picks, but what are you gonna do when there is next to nothing to trade up for? This draft is deep, but not on high end talent..We will get a starter at 1 in Joekel, but the one thing I do not want to do is trade it away for an aging CB that thinks his shit don't stink..lol

Rather than trading for a guy with coming off an ACL who's going to cost a metric shit ton, the better option would be to just draft Milliner, no?
