Anne Rice finds Jesus

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9785289/site/newsweek/

Anne Rice, the wildly popular author of vampires, witches, demons, and the occult, has now become a born-again Christian, and has announced "that from now on I would write only for the Lord." Following her 10th book on the Vampire Chronicles in 2002, her next release will be called "Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt," a novel about the 7-year-old Jesus, narrated by Christ himself.

This... is weird. No, past the state border of "weird", and smack in the middle of "odd and surreal". I dont mean Christianity itself, but Anne Rice?!? Who'da thunk it? I enjoyed her novels, they sometimes got a little creepy and gothic, but she was a very unique storyteller. I dont have any idea what to make of this.
