Keep in mind most television stations have 20 plus counties that they are obligated to cover (60+ for Wichita stations). Just cause your town has sunny skies doesn't mean someone's life isn't in danger 50 miles to your west. Believe me, in TV weather its "Damned if you do, damned if you dont!"

So far there's been one weather related fatality in Arkansas this evening.
