WS game 5 thread. Cards go for the championship with BRC in the house

I've been to a Super Bowl. If my beloved Chiefs ever make it to the Super Bowl I'll probably watch the game on TV with buddies and family over seeing the game live.

I seem to remember about 21 years ago being up 3-1 against some blue team from the west and they came back and kicked our butts. But this ain't 1985. This is a different team.

No one expected this. Even the most hard core Cardinal fan never expected this deep of a run in the playoffs. I know a lot of you here hate the Cardinals or and St. Louis. Just take a moment and a few deep breaths.

How often in life do we get a chance to see our teams win a championship live? With a lot of luck on my side I find myself and my son with tickets to see my team play for the World Series title. I hope Karma is on my side and my son and I get to share a moment that will last long after I'm worm food.

Bold = edit. Rep for Chiefscountry

Even though I don't like the Cards. I hope you and your son get the opportunity to celebrate.

Course, maybe there could be a Billy buck moment too. JK

Looks like you may have had a few after the game tonight. I know I have.

Good luck on those tickets. That would be a great experience and a very cool thing to take your son to.

I'm forced to be happy for about half of the Cards fanbase. They are the either the old-school fans, the St. Louis area fans, the one's raised as intelligetn fans, etc.

The other half are the punks who constantly talk shit, and are generally the worst people on earth. I might be underestimating thier totals when I say they comprise half of the Cards fanbase.

But for the good fans, I can definetly relate to wanting to be in the position you're in. Where you're team, truely your team, is on the verge of something special.

So for you few good fans out there, my constant deraugatory attacks on St. Louisians and thier red colored baseball team aren't geared towards you. They're meant for the real asshole pricks out there. The ones that don't deserve to root for a championship baseball team.

I don't think there is a successful team out there that doesn't have those types of annoying fans. Though I will agree that there seems to be a growing number of Cards fans that are like that in the last few seasons than there has in the past.
