What is wrong with this mother? What does she mean by her comments? (highlighted below) She doesn't seem to be upset at all. It's obvious why here daughter is messed up in the head and became a hooker. What a piece of trash.

NEW YORK — The aspiring singer at the center of the Eliot Spitzer call-girl scandal could soon become a cover girl.

Penthouse would like Ashley Alexandra Dupre, 22, to pose for the cover of an upcoming issue of the adult magazine, but the adult publication has had no luck so far securing a photo shoot.

Penthouse would "love to have her in the magazine" and would consider offering her a cover shot, said Diane Silberstein, president and publisher of the Penthouse Magazine Group.

"She sounds like a very interesting and talented young woman, and I'm sure she has a great story to tell," Silberstein said. "We promise to make it worth her while."

Meanwhile, representatives from Playboy said the magazine has no plans at this point to approach Dupre.

A slew of photos from Dupre's MySpace page circulated around the globe Wednesday night after she was identified by The New York Times as the high-priced prostitute involved with the disgraced New York State governor, who announced his resignation Wednesday.

FOX News has determined that one of the photos, featuring Dupre in a skimpy white bikini, was taken on a boat in Cannes, France.

Sources have identified Spitzer as the investigation's "Client 9," who was caught on tape setting up a tryst with a call girl named "Kristen."

Dupre grew up in New Jersey before moving to North Carolina in her teens, her mother told The New York Times Thursday.

Her mother, who didn't know her daughter was an escort until she called her last week, told The Times she doesn't think her daughter knew who Spitzer was at the time of the incident.

"She is a very bright girl who can handle someone like the governor," Carolyn Capalbo, 46, told the newspaper. "But she also is a 22-year-old, not a 32-year-old or a 42-year-old, and she obviously got involved in something much larger than her."

NOT that I am saying this chick is in THIS league ....

But there are such things as a $5K to $10K and higher a night hookers.
