I'm kind of expecting Bama to dominate, but I'm rooting Big XII.

I don't buy the argument that Texas winning tonight would help the other Big 12 teams. What, are the other teams going to get bonus points if Texas wins? I'm not going to cheer for them.

I didn't say it would help other teams. I'm just rooting for conference. I can definitely understand why you wouldn't.

The Chiefs first-round draft pick wears No. 25 for Alabama.

There's a perception that a Texas win would help the other teams. It would be like Mizzou fans rooting for KU. It doesn't make sense. I wouldn't expect OU fans to root for Texas.

KU's not in it, and I'm not an OU fan. I'm not really sure what you're trying to argue? Neither team winning affects anyone I normally root for. I'm simply choosing Texas.

I thought there was a different payout involved for the winner and loser, which was shared within the conference, but from a quick search, it looks like it's the same regardless of the outcome... others probably know a lot more than I do about it, and I've read that when it's all finished, the payout doesn't net much anyway....

You don't have to buy anything. Fact is that if the other Big 12 teams use MONEY, then Texas has already helped them financially by just getting there...Also it HELPS the conference recruit if it can produce National Champions.

I'm sure the Horns aren't gonna cheer for you either...
