I wouldn't go . People drown thre everyday. And people that don't drown come home with horrible bladder infections. And it's well known that homeless people go there just to pee in the water.

You might want go soon b/c most of their workforce is high school/college age and most of the schools (except for KCMO, of course) begin around 8/16. It will still open weekends through Labor Day.

Oceans of Fun is slightly exaggerated. I would put it on the level of lakes of fun, or possibly bays of fun, but surely not oceans.
