I guess it wasn't enough to ask people to quit buying wedding gifts and birthday presents and send the money to Dear Leader instead.

Now Michelle is sending out emails telling people they might consider skipping dinner and sending the money to Hussein instead.

I wouldn't mind if dems quit eating altogether and sent the money to that narcissistic bastard....





I wonder if they would accept EBT cards?...That's probably what most of his supporters buy their meals with anyway...

Guess I should clarify my statement. WV traditionally votes Republican because of the large blue collar workforce and of course because Coal rules the State, but unfortunately our last three Governors have been Democrats. The last three elections WV has voted Republican. This administration is killing this state with their stance on Coal and while we could be seen as a swing state, I can't see how it would vote Democrat this time.

I liked the Whites documentary but am not naive enough to think the Whiskey Tango phenomenon is unique to any one geographic area.

Last Mountain is a documentary about a group of residents who try to stop a coal company from blowing up a beautiful mountain to get at the coal. It seems a tough balance between people wanting to make a living and people not wanting to see the land they live in torn all to hell.

As long as it's taken as the story of one very messed up family then I agree that the Whites is a good documentary. Unfortunately a lot of people don't see it that way and it just leads to the continued stereotyping of WV as a whole.

I watched the trailer for Last Mountain and have to agree that Mountain Top removal is a horrible practice and it definitely affects the people that live around those areas. I have watched other documentaries that talk about Mountain Top removal in a larger scope. Massey Energy is a huge power in WV though and they are rarely stopped.
Traditional Coal mining has it's place though and is vital to the economic state of WV. Without Coal this state has little to no industry. There is a ton of Natural Gas in WV as well, but the money isn't there like Coal and the Chemical industry that once existed around the capital is all but gone.
