Thoughts on benching Cassel
I am by no means a Cassel fan. He's a starting backup, at best. However, in looking at what's on the bench, I'm not convinced he isn't the best we've got (and that's really saying something about Quinn and Stanzi). IMO, it's almost like we're caught in a catch 22.

Also, let's say, by some miracle, ***** actually drafts a QB in the first round. Who would you want?

Why bench Cassell? You keep going with him and if he continues his dreadful play, you end up with a great draft pick to pick a top QB prospect. If he turns it around, you might compete for the playoffs.

IMO hes most likely the best QB on the team (heh, as if thats saying much...)

The problem is, he appears to have regressed from 2010, lost confidence and lost the team overall.

If im HC, id have to bench him and see how the team reacts to that.

I dont think Orton was the answer by any means, but look how much better the overall team played with him in there.
