Late night bullshit: pick your favorite "posse" set.
Sorter started a pretty cool thread a few days ago about the different offensive tendencies of Andy Reid.
And, well, since it is late night, and it is time for bullshit, and bullshit is what I do, I'm going to spend a couple nights from time to time putting together hypothetical arrangements based on the different personnel sets described in that thread. Next up: the "posse" set. 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB. Here are three sets. Pick your favorite, or create your own. Or do both. A heavy overload to the RT side with the intent to force the defense between bracketing Bowe out wide (and therefore overpowering the defense with Asamoah/Fisher/Fasano with Davis), or forcing the D to honor the heavy right side and isolating Bowe. Option: put Baldwin in motion. Cheating a bit since McCluster is technically a WR, but this is a speed package for the run or short pass. Baldwin and Bowe out wide to spread out the D. Tons of combos here that allow for tons of options and tons of creativity. Full route trees are available for all four players out wide. Hell, move Charles in motion too if you're so inclined. Poll forthcoming. |
