My point is that just because something is perceived to be a sin doesn't mean it has to be illegal. Separation of church and state. Don't want someone's religious views to shape the laws that I live under that is all.
It's not like I am going to run out and march in a gay pride parade but it seems to bother me less than other straight guys that is all. And it's not me that calls it a sin I am not even religious but others consider it a sin. I can respect someone's views even if I disagree with them.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you disagree with rape correct? Would you say you respect the views of a serial rapist but just disagree with them? I don't. I don't respect things believed for bad reasons especially when harm is being done to a segment of the population. It seems to me like something does bother you about it but you just don't want to say it.
