Every team has several good players. Except for the Bears really, who were 1-8 in their last 9 (the one win being a last second win at home vs The Faid). And we couldn't even beat them with a 17-3 halftime lead.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Allowing an offense with Cutler and a bunch of scrub WRs to take back the lead was wretched.. and fitting for this season.

Allowed 18 points (.5 over the average allowed last year) and scored six points.

BUT YUP, TOTALLY THE DEFENSE'S FAULT.

The offense scored 10 points AT HOME.

The loss is on them.

Whole in the hell is using the word TOTALLY about anything regarding the Chiefs?

That's one ****tarded mother****er.

I swear to GOD, it's a perpetual syndrome with this fanbase. The more the Chiefs demonstrate that it's a team game, the more the fans insist there's a magic bullet to cure all ills.

2nd game where the KC lead was lost due to the defense allowing a 2 minute drive for a TD.

The offense barely did enough, but once again, the D allowed Cutler and a bunch of scrubs to kick their ass in the end.

We all know this. None of it matters at this point though. This team just sucks all over. Season's a bust, and you got that much right. Yay for you! you must be so proud!

So deluded.

The only direction the Chiefs are going in at the moment is on to next week.

You don't even know if there's a member of the organization giving the direction of the team the slightest thought right now.

PATHETIC. Chiefs fans never learn.
I'm not blaming them solely. Obviously the offense was awful. But the defense choked.

If the coaching is impeccable, maybe we can get away without talent.

If the D is good, maybe the O can slack

If the O is good, maybe the D can slack.

If we can't draft, maybe our FAs will pan out

If our RB is otherworldly, maybe that'll do the trick.

Since we've tried absolutely, positively everything else, let's see if a QB carousel will magically fix everything else wrong!!

So on and on and on.
