Dad is on is last his last leg. Took me a month to find a home less than $4000. Health care sucks in the USA. Never knew their was nursing-home care insurance. Live and learn. Thanking BTC about now.

Any possibility your Dad is a veteran? I am a veteran, and happen to have a 100% disability rating. Part of that is nursing home care, if needed, paid by the VA!

Hang in there man. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Being a full time caregiver for a parent is extremely difficult, especially with other demands of work and family.
He may actually like it. It tore me up when I put my Dad in a memory care unit and he actually thrived.
