I think in order to answer that we need to find the worse Offense to ever when a superbowl and see if we are worse or better. Are we better than the worse Offense that won the Superbowl?

He's been behind the defense at least 3 times this season (just going off memory) that would have gone for long TDs if Alex Smith makes the throw.

I have been pleasantly surprised with Avery, considering he's a burner/deep threat playing with Alex Smith, who does not excel at throwing the ball downfield.

I think we are comparing the wrong teams. Lets compare our team now with the 49ers team that came one special teams play away from the super bowl.

I would say its like this.... SFO>KCO by a little.... KCD>>SFD by a good amount.

I still believe that D wins championships. We can win it all but our D will have to come up with a few big plays a game in the playoffs.

Who wants to say our D cant do that?
