Over used football Cliches
I was listening to some random sports radio show while I was out on the road the other day. And listening to them made me want to ICE PICK my ears....

They kept saying "at the end of the day" "this guy has the IT factor" "trap game" etc....


What are some of the other over used bullshit clichés you read here or are said over and over and over and over on the sports talk shows/TV?

"I think offensively we did some good things but we also did some bad things too. Two turnovers with one in the redzone.

Uhh.

Defensively we did great: on third downs we kept them to 3 and... 3 and, gosh you guys probably no better than I [from press pool: 3 and 15] yeah, right three out of 15 on 3rd down conversions. Stopped their 4th and short run to end the 3rd quarter but as a whole we have to get better.

At the end of the day, uhh, we just need to get better as a team. I mean hats off to the other guys, they just kept battlin' out there, battlin' through all four quarters and they won the battle in the trenches and that's why they have more points than we did today.

Uhh injury wise, Va'shon has a knee. Thuy Nguyen has a shoulder and we all know Jimbo Jim-Bob got a concussion. All of these guys will be evaluated before we practice on Tuesday"
