I know that a million years ago the NFL kept friday and saturday football games off their schedules in consideration to High School and Colleges. But in todays day and age,the almighty dollar rules.Give HS and College the thursday and saturday slots and open up the friday night scedule in the next few years. It would open up another billion dollar contract with another TV station, say NBC.Friday night would be a ratings blockbuster and soon become the most valuable package in the NFL.There is just too much money to be made to allow this not to happen. The Friday after Thanksgiving would be the highest rated game of the year,as almost everyone is home.Give the Chiefs this game.

HS are not going to change the day they have their games. Friday is when most the kids can go, no school on Saturday. MY HS had a dance after every home game that we all went to and had a blast, this would become impossible. Plus the fact that NFL only has two night games a week, a Monday and either a Sunday or Thursday. The contract would belong to ESPN, as it does currently.
