KC has found the new "Air Gun" attack and it should be used again! (To the great delight of Chief Fans acorss the nation.)

Seattle is in big trouble in the QB department and the Chiefs D should be able to get to the passer and raise hell in the backfield. Our DB's seem to be playing outstanding ball so expect a couple of INT's. The key to this one is to stop Waters and disrupt the backfield.

Last Sunday it was Bar-B-Qued Lamb, this week Chicken is on the menu.

If the Raiders can take out 2 QB's, we can take out 4. Tell Holmgren to dress 4 QB's, Joe. I don't want to hear any excuses about, "we would have won but we ran out of QB's." Consider yourself warned!

I expect that the Chiefs will continue to have their woes with the Seattle running attack. Ball control will be Seattles best friend. That said, I still like the Chiefs for the first win in Seattle in some time (has it been over 4 years???).

This one scares me. Could we be looking ahead to the Raiders? Will we come in overconfident against an ice cold Seahawks team that may be looking for a turnaround? Gun needs to stress the importance of consistency from here on out. Continue to dominate on both sides of the ball like we did against the defending Super Bowl champs and we will blow Seattle away. If we revert back to early season form and just try to sneak out of Seattle with a win we may be in for a big let down. It is still early in the week and we don't know the status of Slymo, Elvis, or Hicks, but as of this moment I will say that Gun gets us up to play and attacks on both sides of the ball.

ChiTown,
It has not been 4 years. Chiefs won there 3 years ago. I was there. Aguilar did the fake punt and threw the hail Mary to get the Chiefs down to the Seahawks 3. We won that something like 26-17.
MI Chief fan took my prediction: Chiefs 31-17.
Praying for a healthy Grbac and Hicks.

I'd be a bit leary about taking Seattle's performance at Oakland on Sunday as an indicator of how well they can play. There was a hellacious wind blustering about the stadium, gusts of 45 mph. Wreaks havoc upon a team's passing and kicking game. Walrus had to change his game plan moment by moment depending upon the ferocity of the wind gusts. I still expect a KC win, but not a blowout like Oakland's.

I'm sorry Chief Red Pants, I don't see us passing for less than 200 yds for some time now. Throwing the ball seems to be the one thing this team can do well on a consistent basis. They would be foolish to go away from it because Oakland ran all over the Seattle D.

I have no beef about your projected outcome CRP, I agree totally. I just cringed when I saw that 80 passing yards prediction even if it was only hyperbole. I just want the wide open offense to keep steam rolling along. The way my mind works, if you don't think something will happen (80 passing yards), it won't. Nice little world I live in huh! I see this being a hard faught close game for several reasons:

1)It's a revenge game.

2)Holmgren had that "heads will roll if I don't see better effort" look walking off the field in Oakland.

3)Kc's dinged up in the D-Line so I expect Seattle will get back to basics and give KC a steady diet of Watters and Alexander maybe using more two TE sets.... I'd be real surprised if they attempt more than 15-20 passes.

4)Shawn Springs embarrassed himself in the Monday night game. He'll bounce back....

23-20 KC.

I also see no reason to think that the Chiefs will change their agressive Offensive game plan.

Seattle has been burnt repeatedly deep and we have one of the most accurate long ball passers in the league right now.

In all scenarios, we want a quick lead. Stryker is right, we need to force Kitna to win the game for them.

Now that's a comforting thought http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/cool.gif

With the Hags QB problems the Chiefs should win this one rather easily. I see us stacking the line of scrimmage and daring the Hags to beat us thru the air. This is the same strategy teams have been using against us. Seattle's problem? They don't have Elvis Grbac. Chiefs 31 Hawks 13.

Kitna comes out and shows everybody he can play in this league, our Defense plays with fire, anger, and most importantly emotion. The fans are crazy, it's a beautiful day and the Hawks defend their territory with a 24-20 win.

You seem like a good guy, Joe. Nevertheless, it is my sad duty to inform you that Kitna will get spanked, and the Chiefs will win 35-20. KC finally figures out both sides of the running game, thanks to the sudden growth of nards on a couple of Stooges. Looked at the forecast for Sunday. Rain (sat & sun), temps in the low 50's. Does a sloppy field slow their cutback runners? Does that bode well for pluggers like Bennett, Richardson and Moreau? Help or hurt EG? I look for several turnovers, lots of FG's and a KC win 26-19.<BR>

I do not see a letdown via Big-Game-itis.

Seattle is really struggling to find something, ANYTHING positive to grow through the end of this season. They will, indirectly, find a little something to that effect(by contradiction). Following this game, they will, without a doubt, realize that Jon Kitna IS NOT the QBOTF.

KC finds balance, and all is well in the world http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

To all:
1. Seattle has lost 4 in a row and is playing at home.
2. KC has dropped 3 of the last 4 to the Hawks.
3. Grbac career vs. Seattle has 4 TDs and 9 INTs.

Big stats to consider:
1. Chiefs +11 and Hawks -13 in TOs.
2. Seattle averaging under 16 ppg, KC averaging 26.9.
3. Seattle can run the ball against KC. KC can only run on Seattle in the 4th quarter and that with a lead only.
