I'm watching ABC. Has anyone seen a more stuttering, unprepared reporter? I could do a better job....

Jeffrey Toobin is his name. He won't be on the air again....

The USSC said the state must invoke a statewide standard, I'm assuming the legislature needs to do that ..right?

I dont think there will be any more re-counts happening for a while...

Thank you Supreme Court! GORE IS DONE! Stick a fork in him. Go away mad, go away NOW, take your ambulance-chasers with you.

Hopefully Sore Loserman will concede tonight. Thank God this friggin mess is finally (I think, 99.99%) over!

Congratulations, PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH!

Well, there is one thing I agree with:

"Although we may never know with complete certainty the identity of the winner in this year's Presidential election, the identity of the loser is perfectly clear. It is the Nation's confidence in the judge as an impartial guardian of the rule of law."

-Justice Stevens

Congratulations President-elect Bush...

Joe,

I pray you are correct, but if there is one thing I have learned about Gore, it is that he is not neccesarily a man of great reason or integrity.

I predict a gracious concession within the next 24 hours, a meeting between Bush and Gore, both guys will try to say the right thing in a press conference, and we move on...

Dawolf - I don't expect that from Gore, I expect it to be an underhanded consession speach full of rhetoric and babblygook, with him finishing up saying that we as a country need to come together.

I guess Al is sort of like Elvis. If you are a Gorebacker you're going to look at the positives, and if you are a Gorebasher homeboy isn't going to do anything right, the slightest twitch of an eye is going to look sinister, so it'll all depend on what you're willing to take out of what he says. :)

The more I'm reading and hearing about this decision though, I'm not sure when we'd get a concesssion. So we'll see...
