Potential $$$ numbers for Surtain contract???

Let me state, FIRST OFF, this is RUMOR!

*saw it posted on a Miami message board -said they had a source* (yeah, I know, probably Nick Athan :rolleyes: )


Anyway, here's what they were saying:

Year 1: 350,000
Year 2: 1,250,000
Year 3: 2,300,000
Year 4: 3,650,000
Year 5: 6,750,000
Year 6: 9,700,000
Year 7: 12,800,000

Immediate signing bonus of $10 million, with a secondary bonus (roster bonus?) of $4 million due in 2007.


IF this is correct, and I STRESS "IF", we would be looking at a cap hit of about 2mil. this year for Surtain and close to $3mil for 2006, since the $4mil. bonus doesn't figure into the cap until 2007.



Take this for what it's worth. (probably a grain of salt)
