Oh, chose Other #1, but I should have picked current college coach. Kirk Ferentz is who I'm referring to.

here is my order

1. Kurt Ferentz, University of Iowa. Would be leaving a good program built by him, might be hard to get.

2. Col. Saunders, The dude has rocked as ther OC in KC. I think he deserves a shot.

3. Herm Edwards, I just like the guy, I think he is DV, with out the crying and wimpy crap.

1. Saunders. Deserves it.

2. Someone else. I'm not opposed to Herm. I also wouldn't mind seeing us sign someone who's a hypnotist and can get free agents to sign for the veteran minimum.

In the era of free agency, it's emerging that loyalty to a coach is pretty important. Guys want to work for the Belichicks and Vermeils of the world, and they'll avoid working for the Coughlins and (except for the fact that he makes them contenders) the Parcells. Whoever is our next coach needs to be a player's coach.

1. Saunders. He's earned an interview but if he can't work with the GM, it's a no go.

2. Jerry Gray. DC for the Bills.

3. ??. I don't know.

Isn't Herm from Martyball school? Still, I'd be cool with him as a HC.

Im not sure i want a HC who needs a time management coach on the payroll.Edwards has a coach for every thing.I wouldnt be surprised if he has someone drive him to the game on sunday.

I say bring on Chucky!!!!!!

No more crying and alot more screamin'

Saunders - because of his experience with this offense and familiarity with this team

Hermie - because he believes in Offense AND defense

Gulp, Bill Cowher - some may think a stupid pick but I respect his spirit

I should have added Chucky & Jeff Fisher to the poll. For me, after his stint in Oakland, the thought of chucky dolls in red & gold make me want to vomit

I like the cowher and fisher choices also, both have been winners for multiple years.

Mcginnis will just return them to the days of tears in the locker room.

Parcells

That would be too funny:

He'd bring in Keyshaun, Vinnie, Dave Megget, Bernie Parmalee, Richie Anderson, Matt Bahr...YIKES!

how about Belicheck since we are picking from a list of unavailable candidates

There have been rumors that Edwards, Haslett, Holmgren & Shanahan, could not be with their current teams next year. Gruden & Fisher seem less likely to be available, though I should have added them. IMO Cower would be a shocker

edit: Tice & Martz I didn't see any point

Okay, question. Did the 4 people that voted for Cunningham know you meant Gunther?

I can't believe any Chiefs fan would want to go there again :shake:

I don't know whether he'd want to be interviewed. I was amazed when he came back as the DC.

Bite your tongue. Ferentz stays.

There's alot of Edwards out there. I wasn't sure which one was meant.

There is no way in hell I want a Martyocre deciple as the next HC, or even interveiwed for the position.

Just say no to Herm!
