I have before me a map of the good ole U.S.A.

I would like to mark the current strategic locations of Chiefs fans (or BB regulars) on it. I don't care if you live 5 blocks from Truman. If you participate Your username will be represented.

I dont want your mailing address or your real name. Just your city and state.

Let's start with C.R. Pants

Redeeming qualities of Wichita:
1. All Chiefs games are televised
2. The papers cover my 2 favorite football teams - KSU and Chiefs
3. People are mostly friendly
4. Housing is relatively inexpensive.

Other than that, I'm ready to move back to Chicago!

I need to register the last few posts then I should be able to give a state count. I may have to eliminate metro KC names...cause A)there's so many... B)I can't guaruntee the're all accounted for...and C) why should we be suprised there are Chiefs fans in KC? http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Idaho Chief -

I live in south Nampa and work at the Idaho Press-Tribune here. Chiefs roots are from growing up in Columbia, Mo.

Nice to know another good Chiefs fan along with another guy here in Nampa who has season tickets to Arrowhead and flies down for each game. He took me to the Rams game. Got a dealt a good hand with that one.

Stay in touch. I'm at jbarnes@idahopress.com

Bob Dole is on the Texas side and it appears that thehead is on the Arkansas side. Bob Dole is glad you put in your parenthetical phrase, though, since Bob Dole missed that there was someone else that close.

Hey head...you ought to start coming to Fat Jack's to watch the games. Bob Dole is the loud one sitting at the bar.

Idahojim,

You dog!!! My wife (a big Chiefs fan too!)and I are very envous. We lived in the KC area from 89 to 93 and that is when we became big fans.

We couldn't take not being able to watch games so we went out and bought a dish. Now we have NFLDirect ticket so we at least get to watch all the games. We are hoping to make a trip to Seattle next year and catch a
Chiefs game there.

It's good to see that you don't work for that other paper. I have no use for the Statesman.

Reno, Nevada - ". . .where the pavement ends and the west begins".

Don't post, just read to catch the latest news on the Chiefs. Read posts on the RMN (lame) donkeys forum during the season to get a chuckle or two. Also the Star's Chiefs forum. Been there since the inception but rarely post.

Been a Chiefs fan since their birth.

What is the age range of these fans?

I am 56 and just maturing. . .

What is a real killer is to see the previous post that stated the following:

"I have been a Chiefs fan since birth(1974)."

The year I graduated HS......man that makes me feel old.

If it makes you feel any better I almost drove off the road laughing today when, while channel surfing on the way home today, I heard the Oldies station playing "Dead Skunk"....two songs later they played "Sugar, Sugar".

I turned my radio off before the gremlins took over.

Durtman - I think that is the year my Parents graduated from high school, LOL! My Mom does not mind the Grandma thing, but she doesn't want to be known as Grandma Packard, it is really funny to tease her.

Morphius.....

May your wife have twin daughters that cause you to gray prematurely!!!

I am a late in life father with an 8 y/o son and a 4 y/o daughter. I have come to the realization that a father-in-law's only revenge on the guy who married his daughter is for son-in-law to have daughters.

My wife and i have a pact...a week before my daughter graduates from HS, we are gonna sell the house and buy a "rolling home". We are going to drive it to her graduation, and when the ceremony is over take off on a trip across the country as a celebration of my retirement.
