For anyone starved for Chiefs-related coverage... well you've about missed this episode, but on FSN Midwest right now is one of their shows "In My Own Words", and Trent Green is the guest. Usually they just pick Cardinals people... but I guess Trent is from St. Louis.

You can still catch the last half of it, but if you want to check it out or set the VCR/TIVO/DVR/BETA, it'll be airing again several times tomorrow and next Monday on FSN Midwest.

I enjoyed the show. Not a lot of meat, but enjoyable anyway.

It's a 30 minute show covering his entire career, that's pretty hard to summarize in a couple sentences.

Next time I just won't say anything so NO ONE can watch it! MUAHAHA... er, yeah.

Best part of the whole interview:

Some Media guy: "So how is the retirement of DV and the hiring of coach Edwards going to effect you?"

Green: "(some general stuff.) And Dick was the kind of guy that if you screwed up he'd give you a hug and tell you 'now you know why not to do that again.'

*Green pauses, then smiles*

I'm not so sure Herm's going to be that way..."

The show sucked. They went straight from his last year in St. Louis to 2005...I wanted to hear about Green dealing with leading the league in interceptions.

It's was a St. Louis jerkoff piece, what'd you expect?...

FSN Midwest is very St. Louis-centric. The Royals and Indiana Pacers both air their games on FSN Midwest, but they don't even talk about them on the Midwest Sports Report or any of their other shows. They just cover the Rams, Cards, and Blues pretty hard. Although I have seen that "Royals Report" show on there from time to time.
