View Full Version : Supporting the Chiefs vs. Supporting Carl

So Bob Dole is reading comments like, "let's all cash in our tickets for the remaining games to show our displeasure with Carl," and "Maybe Lamar would get the message if the stadium was half-empty."

Really great fans, in Bob Dole's opinion.

Bob Dole is of a mind that it would be much better to show up with signs of protest than to simply not show up. Show up with Carl Peterson mask with Hitler mustaches and horns or something...

A half-empty stadium would only indicate at this point that we're disappointed in the team's record and recent play--not CP.

That's why the stage is set for MNF to demonstrate the cause of kicking King Carl out of KC.

Bob Dole fails to understand your point, evidently.

What does a Monday Night Football game at New England offer, other than another opportunity for our coaching staff to showcase their inabilities?

What's I don't like about your idea is that it sucks big time to shell-out hard earned cash to watch an inferior product. It's like paying to watch the Bengals play.

I'm not spending another cent on Chiefs merchandise, tickets or anything else Chiefs related until I see a real effort to improve the team through rebuilding and finding a better management/coaching staff.

Bob- National media coverage for fans who are going to the game to make signs and posters. Also I was the person that came up with this idea first ;)<BR>

That's certainly everyone's right, and Bob Dole has never been one to force his opinion on anyone.

Still, there would seem to be better ways to express one's displeasure with management than by boycotting the team. We've got some good young players, and Bob Dole hates to think they'll bolt for greener (more supportive) pastures because the fans don't show up.

As bad as we've been the past 4 weeks, Bob Dole still shows up at the bar wearing red and yells his a$$ off. And if Bob Dole still lived in KC, he'd be showing up at all the home games just like always. (Might have to buy a no-name Chiefs jersey and add "Peterson Sucks" on the name plate, though...)

It's a sh1tty predicament that's for sure.

So the 500 KC fans that show up in New England carrying signs are going to override the 70k+ that show up at Arrowhead? Bob Dole will be surprised if one anti-Carl sign makes the telecast. Bob Dole likes the "wear black to Arrowhead" idea better...

Hey...wait a minute! Chief Priority = CP.

Hmmm...

Yes more people will see MNF than the remaining games and if we go to any more home Chief Games Lamar will believe that everything is okiedokie in the management as we know it. http://www.chiefsplanet.com/ubb/mad.gif
