I need a program for my fiance's friend. I would love to find a free program that was super easy to show her how to use so she can rip her cds onto MP3 so she can store them on her phone.

Anyone know of any good programs out there?

I would appreciate it.

I just use media player. When you insert a music disk then an option should come up as rip music. You can set the different options like bitrate in the options menu.

Thanks guys.

The problem is she has an older computer with XP, but the Windows Media player is shot and she doesn't have net access.

Any other ones I can download?

Give Audiograbber (http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/) a try. It's a bit tricky to set up the first time as I recall because you have to download the DLL file separately and drop it in the program folder. However, it's simple to use once you get it going and it's free. It's strictly a ripper - not a player.
