With one time out remaining, Chiefs need to take one shot at the end zone, before they settle for a FG.

My money, though, says they just run the ball and set up for the FG attempt.

Or they just kick here.

Easily could have thrown a quickly into end zone, or better yet (IMO) call a draw to LJ. Why take the 3 so early there?

Otherwise, a terrific 1st half. Team was very well prepared. So although I criticize Herm situationally, he's done a great job this week preparing the team.

In this time of game, with a back-up QB in there you take points anyway you can get them. I'll gladly take a 3-0 lead into the half, with the Chiefs getting the ball first to start the second half.

Sounds like from Fat Gretz report that there was a mix-up involving Tony Gonzalez which forced Damon to burn the timeout. Sounds like more of a personnel issue than a clock-management issue.

wasted time. There's the clock management.

Extremely stupid statement. The players on the field thought Dante was ruled out of bounds instead of his forward progress being stopped. The wasted time came from Huard looking over to the sidelines to see what to do...It had nothing to do with Edwards.

Will Herm sit on this lead and start milking the clock in the second half?

Frazod

Not happy with the offense, or that bullshit clock management fiasco at the end of the half, but seriously, have we EVER shut these turds out for an entire half, especially at home?

Hard to argue with that. :thumb:

I'll take it. Now let's double it.

Absolutely horrid clock management brought on by the fact that Herm is perfectly content with 3 points.

ARGH!

There are a ****ton of positives. What did you think the score would be at halftime?

If you are talking about the whole game yes there are a lot more positives...

I was talking specifically about getting the FG, not the TD try.

What KC needs to do in the 2nd half:

- Offense:

1) Run LJ between the tackles/TEs and then run him some more between the tackles/TEs.

2) Keep passes going to LJ and TG.

3) Try a play-action and a pump fake with a deep throw to Kennison.

- Defense:

1) Blitz more often.

2) Defend the bootleg cuz it's coming!!

3) Force a turnover.

Extremely stupid statement. The players on the field thought Dante was ruled out of bounds instead of his forward progress being stopped. The wasted time came from Huard looking over to the sidelines to see what to do...It had nothing to do with Edwards.

"Extremely Stupid." :spock:

Considering about 10 other people said exactly the same thing and I posted the instant after it happened and you had about 3 minutes or more hindsight, maybe you could save your vitriol for the 2nd half or Donkey 's fans, por favor.
