I'll say the same as I said last week. If we win, no big deal. If we are a good team, we are supposed to win this one. If we lose we're done. The real test begins the following week. We need to go 3-1 the next 4 weeks to have a shot.

Not a great line for rushing but sure seems good for pass protection.

Why do you think their o-line is bad,

Because it is. It's awful. I visited a Cardinals board this week and they HATE their offensive linemen. Words like "fat," "slow," and "dumb" have been used in describing them. In a quarter-season grading thread, the highest grade any OL starter received was a C. It was mostly D's and F's.

They're awful.

I respected Logical even with his negativity, but shit dude, what the hell are you watching?

The Cardinals O-line absolutely f*cking stinks. I mean STINKS, and in the passing game, too.

3 or 4 sacks should be the minimum so long as they don't employ a consistently quick passing game.

Based on simple regression analysis in which our passing efficiency is represented by a collection of unknown partial regression coefficients, our run defense is a matrix of known values of predictor variables and that qb pressure is a sampling of random residuals assumed to have means of zero, the tittygraph clearly shows that ours is bigger than theirs by a factor of 8.

Ergo, Chiefs 24 - The California-engineered Train Wreck 3.

The Arizona OL is sub-par and Leinart gets his first start. I do not expect Leinart to Leaf it up, but he is still a nOOb. That should put a damper on Arizona’s receiving corps. I am fairly comfortable that James will not put up too many yards behind that OL and with the Chiefs run D clicking.

Expect the Arizona Defense to follow the 49ers plan in principle, if not in execution. Concentrate on the run and force Huard to put up another career-best performance.

We need to get more swing passes and screens to Johnson. Get him the ball without 4 or 5 defenders all over him at the LOS. The toss sweep is dead until we fix the OT position, so put it away for now, Solari.

The Arizona faithful will be seriously pumped to see their rookie sensation start. Perhaps not an Arrowhead-ian advantage, but an advantage nonetheless.

The Chiefs are not even close to the same team on the road. I do not expect another lopsided shutout WOO-HOO victory, but I do think this is a game we should win.
