Should be a good one. The misses just gave me the go ahead to order it. Here is the card.

Main Event
Rashad Evans (205) vs Chuck Liddell (204)

Matt Hamill (205) vs Rich Franklin (204.5)
Dan Henderson (185) vs Rousimar Palhares (184.5)
Nate Marquardt (185) vs Martin Kampmann (184.5)
Matt Brown (170) vs Dong Hyun Kim (170)

Thiago Tavares (155) vs Kurt Pellegrino (156)
Tim Boetsch (205.25) vs Michael Patt (205.25)
Jason Lambert (185) vs Jason MacDonald (185)
Ryo Chonan (170) vs Roan Carneiro (170)

This card is loaded with talent. I don't know who to root for because I like all four of the top 2 fights.

It's disappointing that Karo had to pull out. The fight between Yoshiyuki Yoshida and him looked to be a very entertaining one.

Should still be a solid night of fights from top to bottom.

I think if you watch this event without a jaundiced eye you'll enjoy this card. Pretty much every match-up has the potential to be exciting.

Then again there won't be a repeat of Keith Hackney going speed bag on Joe Son's apple bag. Those were the good ole days, eh?

Theres just a shortage of credible 185'ers that Silva can take on though. Bisping is still undefeated. Swick lost. He's already beaten Marquardt and Hendo. Okami will probably be on the radar for a non-title fight too.

TrickyNicky

Yeah. But they have to build to Bisping, since he's fighting Leben in the headliner of 89. Letting Baloni, Busta, and Woogie go years and years ago was dumb since they could have been good matchups for Silva and kept the division on the up and ups. I think a fun fight could be for Silva to go up to 205 and fight Machida, since Lyoto is a natural 205 and wouldn't be cutting 15 lbs. If Machida ever gets the belt, that could definitely be a superfight.

On a somewhat related note...

World Extreme Cagefighting's Sept. 10 "WEC 36: Faber vs. Brown" event has been rescheuled for Nov. 5 due to Hurricane Ike, which is expected to hit Florida early next week.

WEC officials notified the event's competitors and their management teams Friday night during a conference call, fighters' representatives told MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com).

"WEC 36: Faber vs. Brown," is set to take place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., which is located in the southern portion of the state. WEC officials said the venue is already being prepared as an emergy shelter for area residents.

In addition to the night's main event of WEC featherweight champ Urijah Faber vs. Mike Brown, undefeated middleweight title-holder Paulo Filho puts his belt on the line against Chael Sonnen at the event.

WEC officials apparently made the decision now -- rather than closer to the event -- to assure fans and fighters weren't stranded in Florida if the hurricane hits with full force.

The latest projections have Ike -- a Catgeory 4 hurricane that at least temporarily weakened to a Category 3 on Friday evening -- hitting the Southern tip of Florida on Tuesday evening and ravaging the southern half of the state by Wednesday night.

In anticipation of Ike's early-week arrival, emergency-management officials have already initiated mandatory evacuations for the 80,000 residents of the Florida Keys, a 110-mile stretch of coral islands located south of Florida's mainland.

That has to suck for the fighters. All that hard work and training....

I don't care for Rashad because he's really cocky and most of his fights are pretty boring. There have been maybe two fights of his that I thought was entertaining. http://www.mmafrenzy.com/2008/09/06/wanderlei-silva-vs-quinton-jackson-nearly-finalized-for-ufc-91/

I guess it's not just him being cocky but it's annoys me when fighters disrespect other fighters.

He has gotten better in his fights of late but most of this fight was boring also. He kept running from Chuck and didn't really engage in any action in the first round. Chuck chased him down again in the second before he threw that wild punch that connected with Chucks chin.

The good thing for Rashad is that he has more speed than most in the UFC. He used to be one dimensional but he is turning into a well rounded fighter. This victory gives him more time to work on his game and still have a shot at the title in the near future.

Very happy with this card until the last fight. I hate Rashad more than any fighter in the UFC. He was a bad matchup for Chuck as Liddell is a counter puncher and not usuall the aggressor so he defends the take downs and counter punches. Well you can't counter punch Rashad because he just back pedals the entire time so Chuck was really having to get in close to and lean to get his flurries in. The way Chuck was approaching so fast it was very easy to see that coming. I just hope wanderlei can get ahold of Rashad because he will attack the way he did against Jardine and Rampage and just destroy Rashad.

Payouts from the fight.

Liddel got a half a million. Not a bad haul for getting your ass kicked. Funny how it works (this way in boxing, too...), the guy facedown on the mat makes four times as much as the guy running circles and cheering.

Chuck Liddell: $500,000
