KSU-KU kicking off in 26 hours.

Obviously hoping for a Cats win, but if Freeman throws a couple of boneheaded picks like he did last week it will be along day....

Saulbadguy

Unfortunately, K-State will get destroyed. Fortunately, it could mean the end of Ron Prince.

I see this as KU's last win of the season.

He may get a return TD. Considering we are in the top 5 or whatnot for non-offensive TD's in the past few years I don't consider that out of the question.

My thoughts of Coach Prince's abilities doesn't come close to rivaling my hatred for the current leadership of the Chiefs organization.

If you had your choice which would you prefer, Ron Prince gone or Herm gone?

Prince.

With free agency, I believe an NFL team does not need a whole lot of time to turn the ship around. The whole "rebuilding" thing is just a scape goat and a ruse, you don't rebuild in the NFL. You get the players you need to run the system you want to run. If you can't do that you are a failure.

College, you have to recruit the players you want, and unless you are USC, you can't just throw bags of money at them. Prince is completely failing at the recruiting aspect of coaching. Otherwise i'd be more patient with him.

Let me rephrase that. I got 4 free tix. :D

Actually, I am giving this lady a router and setting it up for her. But the router was sitting around not in use. It's 802.11b router, too. :)

It must be basketball season, judging by the great interest the KU fans are showing.

Hey, I'm a KU fan and I'm excited. I even came home "early" last night so I'd be up and ready to go for the game.

If you ask me this game has some large implications for both schools.

KU/wins - Still on way to a viable season and middle bowl. I think if KU wins today they can knock off Nebraska as well. They will most likely lose to Texas and Mizzou so it's important for the Hawks to get those two wins to start to create a level of consistency in the program. We all, or at least I, expected KU to regress some this year but not making a postseason game would definitely be a blow.

KSU wins - Big because it moves them to 5-4 (I know, duh). But with home games against Nebraska and Iowa State they should be able to get at least one, if not two, more wins. At 6-6 I give them a fairly decent shot at getting a bowl, especially with the reputation of the Big XII being up this year. At 7-5 KSU goes to a middle bowl and Prince definitely buys himself a couple more years.

So as much as people want to throw the Toilet Bowl label out there I really think the game is a bit compelling. As I said before, I hope we see some good football from both schools.

KU is taking out a lot of frustration on KSU. A reverse pass when you are up 38-7 after KSU went for it on 4th and 11? Wow.

I will give it to KSU. When they were pounding KU they ran it right down their throat every play when the game was decided. The ball didn't leave the QB's hand in the form of a pass in the second half in the 90's and early 2000's massacres.

I think that Vernon Davis should teach people something about TE's. It's not about straight line speed. Hands, how you use your body to create mismatches, and arm length are all more important for a TE than speed.

Coffman will probably run a 4.7, but whoever drafts him will have a Jason Witten-type player.

Yes I know but that is only part of how guys are evaluated. Crabtree is on Tech, his speed will mean in the NFL he has average speed, then you start questioning well what is he, is he Larry Fitzgerald or is he just another Tech guy like Jarrett Hicks?

Just like Freeman he does a ton of stupid things but his pure talent will pretty much wipe that away on draft day.
