Thigpen's runs were arguably the difference against a very good Raiders defense that dropped 8 against the spread.

Thigpen running for 1st downs and sealing the deal with a 1st down completion on the Chiefs' final possession were substantial contributions to closing the victory out - something the team has obviously struggled with over the 2008 season.
