And I discovered this as I tried to turn the receiver on...and all I got was a puff of smoke.
What really sucks is...I can't get Onkyo stuff in Columbia since the circuit city I bought the unit from is closed.
I'm thinking about hanging the dog outside the front porch.
So I guess I'm in the market for a new 7.1 surround sound receiver. At least 2 HDMI in to 1 out. I can go up to 130 watts/8ohm per channel.

That blows for you. Accessories4Less is your best bet. I sold my Onkyo TX-SR804 for 400 a few months ago after replacing it with an 805.

Is your dog mad at you?
Seriously. I had a friend who use dot walk his dog all the time and then he bought a PS2. He was playing Madden with his roommates like 9 hours a day.
one day he came home from school and the dog had left a steaming pile on top of the console.
They know.

You should have let it dry out first, that would have at least given you a chance.

Really?....Don't you think if I had known he had pissed on it that I would have turned it on?

If you do hang him, hang him with Christmas lights. Gremlin's style.

How often have you used the site? I've found a very decent price for an Onkyo unit. It almost looks too good to be true! I know it's a refurbished model but $160 bucks isn't too bad.

I have an 805 from there in my living room right now, and my best friend got a 705 from there.
It's an excellent website. Quick shipping, great reviews, and I guarantee you can't tell a difference between their refurbs and new items.

Why did you put it on the floor in the first place? It isn't like dogs can climb like cats.

It's in a shelf that's down low and open to keep air moving through.
