Welcome back, Banny. Don't let Farnsworth pitch after you and you might get a W.
I'm also glad to see Jacobs not playing the field.

I am getting to the point though that I am not sure if Olivo in is better than Buck in?

That is just scary ....

I still don't understand batting Butler 4th? Why not Teahen or Jacobs? Someone who has actually demonstrated some power?

One day, when Olivo is retired and the sun has set on his below average career, he'll sit back and laugh that we asked not to swing at the high fastball.

Huh? Based on what? Other than Teahen and Jacobs he has the best On base percentage on the team so far, and one of the few people that can steal bases. I don't think you would suggest putting Teahen and Jacobs there do you? I'm happy with the way Coco's eye so far. He could start pulling a Tony Pena Jr, but I'm fine with him so far.

Calling it: 8th inning we bring in whoever, he gets in trouble, men on 1st and 2nd 2 out we start warming up Soria, 2 batters later lead run comes home, Soria sits back down.

I'll play along...

Hillman waits until the bases are loaded in the 8th, brings in soria who blows the save. Hillman will then wax on and on, why that's the reason he avoids bring in his closer with men on base befor the ninth. We never See soria before the ninth ever again this year.

Yes it did...if you play a pull hitter the proper way the SS would have been closer to 2nd but still on the LF side. Damn man, that is just fundamental baseball. And the ball was not hit hard enough to burn it.

In all seriousness Pete, I agree with him and you. They do lack that instinct. And until this team grows a leader... a real leader, they'll always be called 'soft'.
