"...and suddenly St. Louis is passing itself off as a football town."

A great story...man can I relate...

As far as I'm concerned...the St. Louis team is playing in Phoenix and the Rams are just on loan from LA...that's the way it is and should always be....

They don't deserve to call themselves fans until they've endured what we've gone throuh...but it's just like any other eastern city...they think they are the best and have no patience for anything other than a winner...even if it isn't really their team....

Oh, God, please let the Chiefs win Sunday....

It was an OK article, but the guy just needs to admit that the Rams are a better team from top to bottom, ESPECAILLY the coaching and RB.

He comes across as a whiner.

Great story, but the whole 85 world series thing is hitting below the belt.

Kinda makes me wonder how history would have been different had Carl been able to convince Vermiel to come out of retirement in '89. Would we have been better off with Vermiel, or would we be in the same situation because of Carl. Hmm.

Of course prior to last season when the Rams were threatening to rebel on Vermiel because his practices were too tough, I was feeling pity for that franchise. Damn did that change in a hurry.
