WTF???

Prentice's group was not going to be approved by MLB. They wanted a single owner, not a collective. Prentice was only one of several people thrown together as an ownership group. Plus, he rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Glass was the CEO of Wal-Mart. You know, Bud Selig's kinda guy.

Davies has 87 pitches through 5 and 1/3. Best case scenario, he miraculously makes it through 7, and the bullpen gives up 5 runs in the 8th.

Wasn't the third bases coaches fault there. I don't think Callaspo thought Maier was going to be called safe so he just jogged around third and was surprised when the tigers got him in a run down.

04-14-2010, 02:07 PM
If Gordon breaks out this year (.280 20 80) the Royals might have a decent offense...

Basically we need the starters to last at least 7...get an out or two from one of our shitty ass relievers, and then depend on Soria for 4-6 out saves.

Well the Royals transformed from a team that does nothing well offensively to a team that can at least run the bases effectively...

If Pods/DeJesus can keep getting on base...Butler is going to be a high .OPS guy and anything Guillen adds from the 4 spot is gravy...if he turns in one of his 25 HR, 100 RBI campaigns and Gordon adds anything from the 5 hole...anything Ankiel gives us in the 6 slot is a bonus as well...and the offense can actually be somewhat of a positive in 2010.

But other than Butler and Gordon...who the fuck do we even care about for the future?

This team is built with a .500 ceiling.

Yaaay.

Not any position players. This teams foundation is starting pitching and Soria. They just have to put enough players out there to score 5 runs and find a few guys that can have 3 something ERA's out of the pen.
