Alex Gordon's stay at Triple-A Omaha is going well. He was named Pacific Coast League Hitter of the Week. Gordon posted a .500 average (11-for-22) with three doubles, three homers, 10 RBIs and seven runs. He was also doing well in his conversion to left field from third base and threw out a runner at home plate.

pitchcount was up both last year and this year. You have to look at the boards over each bullpen, the main scoreboard doesnt have it.

Seems that way. 4 games and I can't recall one bunt. Hit and run seems to be used more. Outfield doesn't seem to be playing the opposite way that the pitcher is pitching.

Oh, and no one has been shot out at the plate by 10 ft.

Part of this is because of how incredibly unqualified Hillman was as a manager. Thus, though it's easy to say that Yost is better, he very well could still suck.

That said, I believe Yost is the best manager to be in KC for some time. Probably the best since Hal.

If we went .500 for the rest of the season I would be most impressed. Seriously I think we have a lineup that can do it. We have the starting pitching that can do it. The bullpen is still the big ? I think just from a strategery aspect we will get better. As some have said, no SAC bunts in the 1st inning. No incompetence coaching 3rd base. That alone should save us 15 outs and benefit is 10-15 runs alone.
