Seattle is tough in Qwest. And I guarantee you their fan base isn't mourning this game the way ours seems to be. Seattle has the 2nd best fan base in the NFL when it comes to noise in a stadium. That place is going to be rocking. I'm confident this won't be a blow out.

Babineaux's tackle on Romo was right up there with the loudest moments ever at qwest, i would guess mid 130's decibals. Our fans know we need to bring it all tomorrow, I expect it to be among the noisiest games ever at Qwest.

Dude, fans can't overcome suck.

I do agree that fans can't make a blowout turn into a non-blowout. But they can certainly hinder the Saints' offense and cause a few false-starts at bad times. Combined with the Saints (hopefully) being tired from the cross-country trip, and the Seahawks (hopefully) playing as good as they can (for a change), it's not out of the realm of possibility for the Seahawks to pull out the win. Of course, it's also not out of the realm of possibility for a rainbow-shitting unicorn to come prancing through my living room right now, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for it.

Pretty much. 3000 mile trip, and a late start time, makes it even later due to jet lag. I just don't see N.O walking all over the Hawks. I expect pics of that rainbow shitting unicorn if Seattle does the unthinkable.

Just looking at the forecast it looks like they should get the game in before any weather hits. The Saints have had a bit of history of not playing well outdoors and in weather in the playoffs so this should bode well for them.

When the Patriots edged out the Rodgers-less Packers a few weeks ago by 4, everyone in New England started griping about bad defense. I pointed out that "4" is the biggest margin of loss the Packers had all year. With all the injuries they had, it says a lot about how damn good that team is. Even as the #6 seed, I can easily see them winning three road games to get to the SB.

I think you mean SafeCo. Qwest does not.

The roof, at 200,000 sq ft (19,000 m2),[27] covers 70% of the seats but leaves the field open.[18] The roof spans 720 ft (220 m) between concrete pylon supports at the north and south ends of the stadium. Its two expansive sections are held from below by trusses.[28] From above, two arches with additional supports rise 200 ft (61 m) over the field.[27] Post-tensioned cables were used to achieve its final shape and positioning.[29] To minimize damage in the event of an earthquake, the roof has a friction pendulum damper system. This disconnects the roof from the support pylons so that it can move independently of the structure. The technology had never been applied to a large-scale roof before Qwest Field.[21]The roof was originally painted white to aesthetically distinguish it from both Safeco Field and the nearby industrial area.

The Rams beat the shit out of them the first time they played in St. Louis this year. 20-3 and lost the damn tie breaker because the Seahawks had a better division record. Actually yeah they do, they won their division.

Next year, it won't matter. I kind of like the divisional win, that merits getting into the playoffs. Should be 36 teams: work into that bye game. The matrix would also be better, if seeding was wild-carded also. However, it would be construed that it would turn the playoffs into the parallel universe of BCS.
