I'd like to see a team try the spread offense in the NFL. (Was that basically what the Houston Oilers were doing under Glanville?)

Anyway, get creative. Mix it up. I like it. (I'd just rather it be someone other than the Donks doing it.)

part of the reason why people get irritated by Tebow

That's kind of sad to be irritated by someone just because of their beliefs. You're entitled to believe what you want, just like everyone in this world. Tebow isn't forcing his beliefs on anyone. He's expressing himself and his beliefs. There's nothing wrong with that. I'm happy for Tebow because of people like you that don't like the fact that someone wants to express themselves and their beliefs in this free, great country. And the fact that people want him to fail just because he's a Christian... What a messed up world.

That's the truth.

This Denver defense is pretty good, but when they come up against a real offense, thay won't be able to keep the game close enough for TeBow's miracle comebacks.

And that option read offense won't be able to score enough points to keep up.

No, the quality of the football is below par. This was not anything close to pristine football tonight. Most likely it has something to do with the lockout, plus some injury issues (Manning), obviously. Maybe we'll see it come up a notch in the playoffs, I don't know.

I think the haters are jealous of him honestly. Say what you will about his QB abilities. The kid is absolutely a work in progress. "Hate" him because he plays for a rival team, sure. But hating him as a person is just ignorant.

The only person in this thread that I think made some negative comment about it is Laz.

I respect him for his faith and for doing exactly what he's supposed to be doing.

I don't know if the AFC is terrible, but the AFC West certainly is. The Broncos might only have to win 8 games.

The AFC is terrible not just the AFC West

Pitt, Baltimore, and Houston are pretty good (at least before the Schaub injury). And Tom Brady, I guess.

Pitt is ok, Baltimore is schizo and Flacco has regressed, Houston is done and NE is probably the best of the bunch but they are very beatable.

I've seen a few posts that are directly criticizing him based on his faith.

It's sad, really. One of the cool things about Amerika (actually, one of the few cool things we really have remaining) is that a person has the right to believe what they want to believe. Yet, he's taking heat for his faith when there are plenty of other good reasons to criticize the guy for.

As mentioned earlier, I don't know if he would get the same kind of reaction if he were a Jew or a Muslim or one of those gown guys that hand out flowers at the airport. I hate to see that kind of shallow reaction, to be honest.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to imply that the people in this thread were doing it. I was thinking more of the Tebow haters in general. For the record I'm agnostic and I still respect him for sticking to his beliefs. He reminds me of the Christians I grew up around that I have respect for.

I don't think NE is the best of the bunch.

They have a pretty limited ground game, a terrible defense, and unless OchoCinco shows up, no one to stretch the defense.

The Ravens are inconsistent, and only really seem able to get up for the Steelers.

When you look at it, the Steelers are the most complete team in the AFC.

Run the ball, defense, and a big play clutch QB.

There's still a chance for someone in the AFC to get hot down the stretch and make a run. For the most part the league is sitting wide open for someone to get hot.

I get that, but I don't think of this as the same kind of thing as Montana, Manning, Elway, type of thing.

I wouldn't either. If you held a gun to my head I'd probably pick them to get to the Super Bowl. But... it's far from a gimme, they still might have to end up playing every playoff game on the road, and then go through Baltimore @ BAL. Getting swept kills them in any tiebreakers.

I'm not religious myself, but I'm not gonna insult him because he is. Him praying was after his playing. It was the heart and drive to win that I like about him. I think he is paving a new way to play the game . Maybe the college way will be brought more to the NFL side of it. Definately pretty exiting. If the Chiefs can't take the division this year, I kinda hope Tebow represents the AFC west in the playoffs.

No the handcuffing. He needs to learn to make those throws. How else if not with game experience. You forget he only has thrown 1 pick in 5 games. He doesn't turnover the ball often. Your point is useless. Stop trying, you look senile.

So your hanging your hat on the fact that he's only thrown 1 pick in 5 games when his passes are so bad that he isn't even getting close enough to his receivers than even defenders can't make a play on them?

TeBow is in his second year, and there's a huge difference between Big Ben and other rookie QBs and Tim TeBow.

Most only needed tweaks to mechanics.

TeBow has to learn from scratch, and he really hasn't improved form year 1 to 2.

What pisses me off the most about the last 2 Broncos games is the realization that the Broncos are better than the Chiefs and KC is definitely the worst team in the division. Denver's D has been doing a great job the last few weeks, the DL can generate consistent pressure from more than 1 spot, Bailey can still match up well with #1 WRs, and their OL can help them move the ball even when D's know they are going to run. Damn.

The division? We are the worst team in football. Yea we have a better record than the colts and Miami, but look at their defenses compared to ours. They can both get after the QB which we cannot. Plus there are only I'd say three or four QB's worse than Cassel, of course one is on the Colts, but they have the edge on defense. We are the Lions of years ago. Accept teh suck, Embrace it, It is who we are.
