Well, in all fairness, Roy did take KU to 4 Final Fours and 2 championship games. He just couldn't seem to win the damn thing. But he has a couple now since he's been at UNC. So, I think he's a damn fine coach.

I haven't in years... yeah, he has 2 NCs, and that's cool for him and UNC, but after a couple of years of uneasiness with Self's style, I've really enjoyed it. In the Roy years, when they lost, it was like I could tell in the first 5 minutes of the game... and it basically came down to how well they were shooting. OTOH, do people ever really feel nervous about Self's teams? Sure, there's the fear of losing early in the tournament, whatever, but I rarely say "shit, they're going to lose this game"... and even when I've said that, I'm not always right. It's great not to be so reliant on outscoring teams.
