He gives the Chiefs a C- for their draft because they 'drafted only for needs' (though he has no clue what their board looked like), and then goes on to praise them for drafting 2 ILB's because they will soon NEED a replacement for Derrick Johnson.

The idea that some random jackass can "grade", within minutes of the draft, a team of experts with 100s of years of actual NFL experience between them, who have spent 80 hours a week studying film for months, meeting with players, talking to college coaches, access to privileged information, watching live play, etc. etc. etc. - who are also competing against 31 other just as well prepared teams to find an edge - is one of the most ludicrous things I can think of in all of sports.

Wait a year then grade based on results? Sure. Wait 3 years to be safe? Absolutely. Instant grade? I don't get it. Why would anyone think that means anything?

Yeah we had a very good/lucky run of pro-bowl caliber draft picks: LJ, Allen, Johnson, Hali, Bowe, Albert/Charles/Flowers/Carr, Berry, Poe, Houston. Just imagine if our #5 and #3 overall had panned out?

What we didn't get though was enough rock-solid contributors like Bailey or Pollard. But still compare that to the waste-land of '98-'02. Also the last 2 years look pretty bleak so far.

Year one: Fisher, Kelse, Davis - That's a good haul, especially considering we didn't have a 2nd rounder. Still waiting to see if Commings, Kush, Catapano amount to anything.

Year two: Ford,Gaines, DAT, Murray, Fulton, Tard - Jury is still out but I remember the Carl years when we had immediate flame outs. I think the 2014 class is promising. Plus there was no 2nd rounder here either.

The only way Teicher has a job is to to write inflammatory articles against the team he is hired to report on. He never says anything of importance..not sure why people care. At least Whitlock was entertaining...and pertinent every once and a while. It's almost as if he just looks for anything bad to say..then writes an article to garner attention...He's a hack with no real insight.
