Well, Ned will be able to do all of that come September if he wants. But until then, we've got such a giant lead there is literally no reason not to give Rios 3 more weeks to see what we've got. It would actually be stupid to take him out of the lineup at this point.

I don't disagree with giving him more time now. My point is today if Gordon was starting I would sit Rios. I don't see the upside you guys do but I hope I do soon

The division is done. I'm not sweating this loss tonight. Just avoid the long losing streaks and stay healthy. The team is in a bit of a lull right now, on a long road trip, and probably a bit bored and tired. If we go 5-5 on a road trip no biggie at all.

I do think guys who are soft tossers with a good changeup are the Royals kryptonite.

Uh, Yeah, for a team of aggressive swingers like we have. Patience is a virtue yet our boys have forgotten this, this year. It took many games last year to figure it out and somehow we carried that over to start the season.
