Did the Chiefs learn early about his "habits" and let him go?

Cowboys pass rusher Irving facing 4-game suspension for PEDs

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reports defensive lineman David Irving is facing a four-game suspension for violation of the league's performance-enhancing drug policy, according to a source. The issue stems from a supplement Irving had a marketing deal with, per Rapoport.

Mike Fisher of 105.3 The Fan in Dallas first reported the development.

Irving is appealing the suspension, per Rapoport.

Irving came on strong down the stretch last season, morphing into the Cowboys' best pass rusher. The 23-year-old notched four sacks in 2016, including three in a two-game stretch in December.

The Cowboys added to their pass rush with first-round pick Taco Charlton, and are expected to get Demarcus Lawrence back healthy, but if Irving's suspension isn't overturned, it's a big blow for a thin group to open the season.

Seems like not a big deal. Just a supplement he overlooked.

Good. Denver plays the Cowboys week 2.

Yep. Dungver needs every advantage they can get. But it won't matter. Eric Hicks could come out of retirement and get to Semen behind that awful offensive line. That new left tackle is so dumb that the defensive lineman will tell him that his shoe is untied and run right by him while he is looking at it. The guy will look up and say no it's not, but by that time, Semen will be eating dirt.

Dorsey has been taking heat for losing out on this guy- guess he was right all along. People can finally dry their tears.

PEDs or not, it's junk that we let him walk so we could have Nick Williams on the roster (a guy who has really never impressed me all that much).
