Can we just win a super bowl already so some of these guys can retire instead of chasing it every year

Can we just cut the dead weight past prime players and focus on winning a super bowl vs being sentimental about certain broke dicks?

I used to love Morse, but I am coming to the conclusion that Ford and him are in a neck-and-neck battle for "Broke-Dick of the Year".

Yeah, I won't shed a tear if both of them get released at the end of this season. Can't help the team if you're constantly hurt all the fucking time.

Morse would be solid depth at the very least

He’s definitely in the ballpark but his position isn’t as high profile.

He’s missed a shit ton of games in his career.

Morse is a good player. Unfortunately, he's a good player who can't stay healthy. Sucks.

That’s been the real key to the Patriots’ success. They keep their roster as flexible as possible. Besides Brady, no one has been irreplaceable.

If it was the Raiders D line we face again, they probably would.

This is a good example of roster mismanagement by Dorsey.

Instead of just re-signing Hudson, who was an elite center, for $9 million a year, he lets him walk to draft Morse with a second round pick, and while LDT is a decent player, he almost signed him to an extension that annihilated the value he provided.

The Chiefs would have been much better off had they just re-signed Hudson, who they could still have at center, used the second round pick on someone else, and they could have LDT still playing the last year of his 6th round contract instead of making $8 million in AAV.

Even when Dorsey hit on guys, he fucked up their contracts at the first opportunity.

Had that same conversation with a friend. However, did KC have the $$$ to keep Hudson at the time? Or was he just deemed too expensive to keep but the $$$ was there? It doesn't really matter, if it's just one guy, a team can always find a way to keep him if they want to. Anyway, you're spot on with this.

Chargers CB Casey Hayward is questionable with a calf injury that he apparently suffered Wednesday or Thursday. That is a huge development. Hayward is playing like a top 3 CB in football this year.

Unlike Ford, Morse is a contributor when he plays. Has Morse had injury problems before this year?

He missed 1 game in 2015, started all 17 games in 2016 and has missed 6 games this season.

So outside of this season, no he isn't injury prone.

He was very highly thought of around here until this season.

I think the fact that Fulton appears to be as capable may be skewing the perception. Its possible they are equivalent players.

I think Fulton has actually played better at Center than Morse. He is protected there. He rarely.,if ever, gets bull rushed into the backfield, which seems to happen to Morse a lot.

His post is in hindsight the Chiefs in 2015 offseason didnt have enough money to sign Hudson, Ron Parker AND Justin Houston

Houston came off a 22 sack season, they had no choice. They should have kept Kurt Coleman that year though.

Morse missed time in 2015 due to a concussion.

He also missed both playoff games in 2015, at Houston and at New England.

Fulton started both.
