Last season they lost Jason Peters, Darren Sproles and Carson Wentz and still won the chip. Peters and Sproles are future Hall of Famers and Wentz was having an MVP season.

For anyone curious or unaware, KC will still be leading the division even if the Chargers beat us. The tiebreaker after H2H (which would be 1-1) is division record. Chargers would then play BAL, pretty tough game, and at Denver.

I expect us to just beat them, but even if not, the odds are still in favor of us winning the division. We'd have to lose, probably at Seattle, AND they'd have to go 2-0.

One of the biggest calls of the game was the OPI on Crabtree. If KC scores on that possession they win and Baltimore conspiracy folks claim it wasn't called because of Mahomes.

If the NFL REALLY wanted BAL to win they could have called DPI on the last play, even though it would have been wrong. They wouldn't have called 2 holds on BAL on the last possession.

They would have found a block in the back on the Dolphins return.

My problem is you guys don't acknowledge when things go against your theory, and it takes away and credibility you would have.

The hilarious thing is if you go read the NFL's facebook page... they make posts about the Chiefs today and like 50% of the comments are from opposing fans complaining about how the officials are in our pockets and we get the good calls.

All the other fans think we have the officials in our pocket because we have a star QB. It's hilarious because it's 100% bizarro world from this place.

Also, I wouldn't have onside kicked. Seriously. The conversion rate on these is awful...you just have to hold them 3 and out, and with the 2 time outs they could have bled about a minute off the clock. Leaves you 50 seconds or so just needing a field goal.

NJChiefsFan
12-09-2018, 05:57 PM
The math does say you are more likely to win if you go for 2 but that's if you are down 14 in the 4th when you take 2 point conversion % and OT % into account. I don't know that analytics says to go for 2 in the first half though.

My thought process is that even if you don't get the onside kick a stop keeps you in the game. Then you can win with either a recovery or a stop, although the stop is likely to need a TD. Then again it is LA.

Refs are still human and we're prone to make mistakes. Sure sometimes it might seem they're being blatant about something, but that may not even be the case. In all honestly, it doesn't really even matter because KC is going to put up a 50 burger on those frauds.
