I would agree with you on that but it remains to be seen if anyone can ever replicate what they have done. I don't think it is possible. Whatever it is QB and Coach combo, cheating, pact with the devil who knows but so far they have been the only team to have that type of dynasty so I think you have to not try to mimic the anomaly and try a more conventional method. To me that would be a combination of both.

If there was a great corner in the draft this year, and you wanted to move up to get him, you'd have to give up a Patrick Mahomes type of deal to jump that far which would include your first this year and first next year to get into the top 15. Then you'd have to hope that he's worth that and can perform over a proven commodity. Brett Veach is big on scouting so I'm sure he's looked over the field of potential corners he's done his research on and was prepared to start putting on his big board and is probably of the same mindset that you can only get close to Ramsey, but not better.

Play him as much as possible between now and then. If he plays well, the driving price goes up and if there is a desperate team out there that needs a CB, leverage plays in their favour in terms of trading him and getting the best possible deal. I think thats the scenario they’re hoping for.
