I'm looking for ideas?

The best I've had is a smoked brisket or a whole turkey deep fried in peanut oil....with a bud light appetiser manditory.

Other neccesities for a successful tailgate?

Brats boiled in Beer and Onions, then grilled over some coals at Arrowhead.

Ya can't go wrong with hotwings or brats with brown mustard.

Is beer a food?
We try to mix it up a little.
Last year we had some jambalaya?
3 levels of heat for all tastes.
Man, that was good on a cold day.

Beer.

If you have enough of it, anything you serve will taste like Filet Mignon.

Brats & Burgers

Beer is good at the beginning of the season, but when winter steps in I turn to ole' faithful (flask filled with Jim Beam)

a few years back we drove down to a game w/the bolts and it was so cold the beer froze in the back of the truck...we had lobster tails, pork steaks and beer slurpies...what a time!

Cory - I always find them a little hard to chew, and the smelling and the screaming while they are being cooked just is too much of a hassle.

I would have to say that Brats are on the top of the list as far as tailgateing goes

Haywards BBQ. If you can transport it, try and get the SIDE of beef... http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/wink.gif
