And what do we get?

Oh yeah...I forgot. When we have one rip off a run for more than 10 yards, we have to sit them out the rest of the game so they'll be "fresh" for January (when they'll be playing with the neighborhood kids at haltime of the Super Bowl).

Four over 200 today... has KC had one over 100 in a game this year? :D Sorry - couldn't resist.

Bob - 4 at 200 with Redmond almost guaranteed 200+ on MNF. Cool.

If we had all four of them on the team, we probably still would not have rushed for 100 yards between them. Not with our OC, and OL line coach. We don't have a RB, but I don't think that is the whole reason we do not have a running game.

In all honesty... I really hope KC overhauls the team and the coaching staff in the offseason.

I like the fact that Oakland and Denver are doing well, but I would like to see it as a 3-team race in 2001.

Good luck...

Why stop at a 3 team race? I'd like to see seattle in it, too. Nothing could be more exciting to be a fan of a team in the AFC East right now (unless you like NE)....

Bob Dole agrees that we still wouldn't have a 100 yard back if Anderson, Dillon, Dunn and Martin were all on our roster.

Dunn would sit because he's too small. Anderson wouldn't play much because he's a rookie and we'd have Dillon and Martin. Dillon would get some carries, but because of the "player groupings" would never be in the game on 3rd down, and Martin would be catching 2 yard passes out of the backfield with no blockers out in front of him on 3rd and long.

Or we'd have 6 rushing plays the entire game...

Anyone remember when Okoye was here and announcers gave the Chiefs record when he rushed 30+ times? It was some astronomical record like 30+1 or something. When was the last RB who got 30 carries? ANY coach who subscribes to commitee running and personel groupings should be fired. We have a best RB. Figure out who it is in the pre-season and give him the F'N ball regardless of whether it is 1st and 10, 2nd and 6, 3rd and goal, whatever. RBbC is a dead horse. Not even Proctor tries to defend it anymore. If I see more than 2 backs get the ball against the Pats, I will know Gunther is a lifetime DC. (I already know that but just for conversation)

I'd just like to see one of our backs get 200 over the course of 2 or 3 games.

Not to diss the runners, but I think it shows how weak tackling has become. Too many guys tring to "hit" a guy down.
