Greasy may be down for the count due to Raideritis of the shoulder. The Donks will now ride the Ferret in their quest for the division. The creampuff schedule will be a little less creamy with the league's top rated passer under the knife and Elam with a broken back. Denver has had a hell of a time with injuries since Elway left.....

Sounds like he wants to wait, but if he needs it now, then I say do it. Worst case is he would be our 6-7 weeks. The next 6 games are fairly easy ... Gus shouldn't perform too poorly. http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

If it's the best thing for Griese to do, then do it ... he could still come back for the last 5 or 6 games.

As much as I'd like to see Denver lose every game they play, this is not something to take a short term look at. He should have the surgery before this gets any worse. Injuries are a fact in the NFL, but it doesn't mean you get cavalier about them, GF will do an adequate job the offense and "RAT" will adjust the play calls to what GF does best.

I hate to see injuries become the downfall of the Broncs this season. I was hoping they could achieve mediocrity all on their own. Best of luck to Griese & his shoulder rehab. I'd have MUCH rather beat Denver WITH Griese yesterday.

Frerotte isn't as bad as Denver's fans make him sound. You guys can still contend with him, IMHO. Just keep him away from the brick walls....
